The Nutcracker (2025) will be presented November 23rd, 2025
at The Ridgefield High School
The Ridgefield School of Dance presents two performances each year; The Nutcracker in December and full-length classical ballets for the annual, year-end performance. Both events include a classical ballet and a highly choreographed offering from the Jazz Department (jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap and musical theatre dance).
Our repertoire includes Four Seasons- Act II of the classical Swan Lake, the humorous Carnival of the Animals, the charming A Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra featuring youngest dancers. and the incomparable A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Other ballets in our repertoire include The Sleeping Beauty Ballet, Cinderella, and Les Sylphides. Recent productions have also included selections from Paquita, Swan Lake, and Romeo and Juliet. and Madeline, a ballet based on the children’s classic and Alice in Wonderland, both featuring original choreography by artistic director Jessica Boelts.
