While we are returning to a more normal lifestyle since the Covid-19 pandemic began, The Ridgefield School of Dance (RSOD) will continue to look to the CDC and the CT Department of Health for guidance as warranted. The safety of our students, staff and parents continues to be of paramount importance to us.
In the school:
Masks are no longer required within the school/studios. However, dancers are encouraged to wear a mask if they wish.
Dancers should not attend class if:
they know that they have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 or are currently infected. RSOD will follow the then current Ridgefield Public Schools guidelines for returning to class.
they have been required by their school or the health department to quarantine.
they don’t feel well.
Responsibilities of our dancers and their families
We all must do our part and we expect everyone to cooperate with the guidance provided by the CDC and the CT Department of Health.
What we are doing to protect you and your dancer:
Teachers and staff are all vaccinated and received boosters for Covid-19.
Hand sanitizer is provided for use prior to entering the studios.
Both studios have been equipped with video equipment and links to class via zoom are available upon request.
An UV-C Air Purification System has been incorporated into our HVAC unit to treat the air flowing throughout the system.
Our policies may change pending further guidance from the CDC or state or local Health Departments. While RSOD cannot guarantee that our staff, dancers and/or their families will not be exposed to Covid-19, we are trying to do our part.
